Sunday 26th September 2021 saw the delayed Royal Enfield One Ride take place.
With the forecast of rain we were feeling a little worried but after waking to a morning of haze, it soon lifted and turned out to be a beautiful sunny warm day.
We took a group from the showroom through the idyllic scenery of the New Forest where the gorse is starting to turn purply pink to the Beaulieu National Motor Museum. With Kenny acting as guardian at each junction to get us all through together we were waved at by the people we passed with smiles and even photos and filming.
We enjoyed lunch followed by the awesome machines on display as part of the Simply British Classics show that was on and of course a tour of the rest of the museum.
An alternative route back through the forest where we saw the pigs, sheep and horses (all behaved and let us pass without incident). To arrive back at the showroom for tea, free gifts and a raffle, where I am pleased to say we raised £85 for charity CALM.
A great group of people made this a fantastic day.
Next time I will remember the GoPro so I can get footage of the scenery.
