Service and parts advisor

A demanding role suited to someone with previous experience in a similar role within the motor trade. Full training and support will be given.

Daily duties include but are not limited to: Taking booking for the workshop technicians, ensuring the days' work is organised in the most efficient way. Discuss with customers the work they require and estimate the job. Ensuring parts required for the jobs are available for the appointment. Liaising with the technicians and keeping customers updated if any delays occur. Liaising with the manufacturers and following their warranty procedures for any issues covered by the warranty. Liaising with insurance companies, the assessors, and owners for insurance repair work. Ensuring estimates and invoicing are carried out accurately. Parts lookup for customer orders along with ensuring the orders are processed in a timely fashion.

You will be involved in stock level upkeep from parts and consumables through to clothing and accessories too. You will be trained in helmet fitting to be able to advise customers on the best fit.

You will be the main point of contact in this customer-facing role so an excellent customer service standard is required. You will work alongside the current parts and service staff and will work closely with the technicians, you will also be liaising with the sales team so a great team player is required.

As much of your work will be on a computer, from our own dealer management system, through to supplier sites and EPCs, excellent computer skills are a must. A general level of knowledge about motorcycles and their component parts is required for parts to be looked up on the electronic parts catalogue. A great level of accuracy is required in this position, as are organisational skills.

Full time, permanent position.  5 days out of 6 includes Saturday with a day off in the week.
